Following a fresh alarm and protest by youths of Daudu Community in Guma Local Government area of Benue State, over alleged missing of another genital organs of a male and female in the community, the leader of the Council has imposed a curfew to help check activities of hoodlums.
This is even as the State police public
relations officer (PPRO) Cathrine Anene has confirmed that one motorcyclist who raised the alarm that he picked somebody for a drop and in the process the person touched him and his manhood disappeared.
Thechairmanof the Council, Hon.Caleb Aba in a telephone interview with our correspondent explained that the curfew which will start from 8.00pm to 6:00am, will last till the situation improved.
According to Aba, “the youths on Tuesday again took to the street protesting for another genital organs disappearance, threatening to burn the Daudu police station in the community.”
“In spite of the appeal by Governor Samuel Ortom, traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the area for calm, the youths still went ahead to the street protesting and threatening to burn the Daudu police station, alleging that another genital organ was missing.”
