Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd), the National Security Adviser (NSA), has revealed the discussion held between President Muhammadu Buhari and the service chiefs.
The Nation reported, speaking with State House correspondents in Abuja after the crucial meeting, Monguno said that President Buhari commended the service chiefs for the efforts to curb violent crimes in the country, but added that they have to do much more.
Monguno explained how displeased the president felt over the lack of synergy among security forces, as reported on Facebook account.
According to him, the President Buhari instructed him to meet with Northwest governors and the of Niger state government to map ways to tackle the menace of banditry in the country.
