Owing to the COVID-1919 epidemic, West African Examination Council, WAEC, has suspended its examination in March 2020.
This was in stringent adherence to the Federal Government's mandate for the closure of schools in the country.
WAEC spokesman on Sunday 7th June, in an interview says, WAEC is prepared to conduct examination in Nigeria.
He, however, explained that the organization is not in a hurry, despite it's provision for online studies.
Demianus Ojijeogu said the organisation would give guidelines for conducting of examinations at the re-opening of schools.
This he said it will give teachers and candidates enough time to get prepared and perfect plans ahead of time.
The organisation said it would commence examination after the Nigerian government re-opens schools across the country.
