It was an epoch-making event at The Lord’s Garden, Abuja as dignitaries from different walks of life gathered to celebrate the Grace of God at work in the life of the Celebrant, Dr. Paul Enenche.

Dr. Enenche who turned 50 on the 4th of June 2018 took out yesterday the 13th of August to mark his birthday belatedly. In attendance was Bishop David and Pastor Faith Oyedepo, Bishop David and Mrs Mary Abioye, Acting President Osinbajo, Archbishop Nicholas Okoh, Primate of Church of Nigeria in the Anglican Communion, Anyim Pius Anyim, Yakubu Dogara, Honorable Speaker of the House of Representatives, Executive Governor of Benue State and his wife, Dr. and Dr. Mrs Samuel Ortom, Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure of Throneroom Ministries, Pastor and Pastor Mrs. Goodheart Obi Ekwueme, Prof and Mrs Jerry Gana, Pastor Ntia Ntia of Full Life Christian Church, Ejembi Eko (JSC) and Uche Secondus, among others. The Celebrant was indeed grateful to God as he recounted at least 10 near death experiences he faced and overcame from his formative stages in the womb of his mother – from an alleged miscarriage, to refusal to admit his mother when she was in labour so that she birthed him on the bare floor and cut the umbilical cord without any supervision, to chronic convulsions as a child among others. He submitted that his being alive is clearly an work of Grace. As if to confirm our suspicions, he mentioned that he had no plans to celebrate his 50th Birthday, but upon counsel from his Spiritual Father that Age 50 is a milestone that should be celebrated to appreciate God for his goodness, he agreed to a birthday celebration.

Delivering the Keynote address, The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide referred to the proofs in the life and ministry of the celebrant as “Raw acts of God.” He emphasised the importance of makingl timeous thanksgiving a lifestyle; and the fact that 50 is in no way an “Old age”, because “You are as Old as you think”, and that the Law of Diminishing returns does not apply to Children of God because “The path of the just shines brighter and brighter till Jesus comes. He concluded his message by pronouncing the Blessing of God upon the Celebrant and His family; insisting that the Celebrant has “seen nothing yet.”

It is worthy of not that all the hymns sung by the choir for the event were received and written by The Celebrant, Dr. Paul Enenche.

Goodwill messages were received by individuals and representatives of groups whose lives and ministries have been positively affected by the Celebrant. Worthy of note was the recorded goodwill message from Bill Winston of the “Believer’s Walk of Faith” who mentioned that Dr Enenche “set the church on fire” and that the members of his church went on and on about his ministration months after he was invited to preach at the International Faith Conference in 2017. Pastor E. A Adeboye also, in an endearing tone conveyed his Goodwill message via audio; raining prayers and congratulations on the beloved celebrant.

The meal was blessed by Bishop David Abioye, and the cutting of the gigantic cake which was modelled after the Glory Dome was anchored by the Mother In The Lord of the Celebrant, Pastor Mrs. Faith Oyedepo. Prayers for the nation was led by Apostle Emmanuel Kure.

In his speech, The Speaker of The House of Representatives mentioned that his paths crossed with the celebrant in the 80s as members of the Fellowship of Christian Students in the University of Jos; and he is not surprised at where God has placed him on account of his faithfulness to the call of God upon his life.

Referring to the celebrant as “my dear brother”, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo who considered himself deeply honoured to be present showered prayers on the Celebrant, and stated emphatically that Dr. Enenche owes an enormous responsibility to this generation.

The ever smiling Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche gave the Vote of Thanks, and Bishop Abioye led the Closing Prayer. The National Anthem was sung, and a praise session ensued. Standing close to the exit, the celebrant thanked the guests for honouring his invitation as they left for their respective places of abode.

From all of us at Church Gist, we wish Dr. Paul Enenche many more years of Impact and Influence for the expansion of the Kingdom of God here on earth, and for the benefit of Humanity.
